Refund, Return, and Exchange Policy
Because every product from KumikoLab is custom-made and hand-crafted specifically for your order, we have a strict policy regarding returns and exchanges.
All Sales are Final
We do not accept returns, offer exchanges, or issue refunds once an order has been placed and production has begun.
This policy is in place because:
Custom Work: Each item is handmade to your specifications, meaning we cannot restock or resell an item that was created just for you.
Materials: We purchase materials specifically for your custom order shortly after it is placed.
We encourage you to carefully review your order details, measurements, color selections, and our product descriptions before completing your purchase.
Exceptions to the "No Refund" Policy
We stand by the quality of our craftsmanship. The only exceptions to the "All Sales Are Final" policy are as follows:
1. Product Arrived Damaged or Defective
If your product arrives damaged due to shipping or is found to be defective upon arrival (e.g., a structural flaw, not a minor cosmetic variation inherent in handmade items), please contact us within 3 days of delivery.
To initiate a claim for a damaged or defective item, you must provide:
Your Order Number.
A clear description of the damage or defect.
Photographic or video evidence of the damage to the item and, in the case of shipping damage, photographs of the original packaging.
If we confirm the item is damaged or defective through fault in our craftsmanship, we will offer one of the following solutions at our sole discretion:
Repair the item.
Replace the item at no cost to you.
2. Order Cancellation
Because we begin the process of material acquisition and planning immediately, cancellations are generally not permitted after 24 hours of placing the order.
If you contact us within the 24 hours window and production has not yet started, we may, at our discretion, approve a full refund.
Color and Size Variations
Please note that handmade items naturally have variations that are not considered as defects.
Colors: Due to variations in computer monitors and natural wood doesn't have stable and only color, the colors of the final product may appear slightly different in person than they did on your screen. These minor variations are not grounds for a refund.
